Directions to Lone Wolf Cabin
Several routes lead to Ottawa: Highway 417 from the east, take Mann Ave and follow straight onto King Edward (you will see the sign), this will lead you to the Quebec side.
Highways 416 from the south and highway 7 from the west, when you reach Ottawa, take the 417 to Nicholas Exit and take your first right (Laurier) and go a couple of blocks to King Edward and turn left.

NOTICE: Heavy traffic through Ottawa from 3:45 to 5:30 during week days. If you are coming later you may want to have dinner before you arrive.



From Ottawa
  • Take King Edward and follow the Hull sign over the MacDonald Cartier Bridge on the 5, you do not go very far before you turn.

  • Take the second exit over the bridge, and follow directions to Montreal (Hwy. 50)

  • Take the Montee Paiment exit go left about 8 miles (second stop sign you come to) then turn left on Letourneau Road, go about 200 yds and turn left on Stanyar Road. (just before the mail boxes)

  • This is a private road. Go to the top of the hill and turn right at 59 Stanyar. This is the beginning of the little road through the forest. When you reach the gate you will find a lock box with an extra key inside to open the gate, keep this key for both gates. The number for the lock box will be disclosed to you when you check in. Please lock gate behind you.

    You now have a half a kilometer to walk to the dock and 300' to paddle across the lake to the cabin. If you prefer you can also walk around the deer trail to the cabin. If I am not around to check you in there will be another lock box at the cabin with the key inside as well as all the information you need if I havent sent it to you already.

  • Take Maisonneuve Boulevard and follow the Montreal Hwy. 50 signs
